YPFS DEFINITION
A factsheet, fact sheet or fact file is a short document containing essential information about a product, program, service or other topic. Factsheets are frequently used to provide information to an end user, consumer or member of the public in concise, simple language.
Author Selection Guidance
In most cases the organization providing the product, service, or program is the author. If the fact sheet is created by an individual that is external to the organization this will likely be made known in the text in the form of a by-line.
Publisher Selection Guidance
In most cases the organization providing the product, service, or other topic is the publisher.
