YPFS DEFINITION
Both a written paper and an oral presentation on new or expanded research idea presented at a conference. Note: if the document was presented at a conference this is usually noted on the cover page of the document.
Conference papers can be an effective way to try out new ideas, introduce your work to colleagues, and hone your research questions. Presenting at a conference is a great opportunity for gaining valuable feedback from a community of scholars and for increasing your professional stature in your field.

Typically these documents have a byline with specific authors or organizational bodies identify.
Publisher Selection Guidance
The organization and/or conference that creates the forum for scholars to meet, discuss, and share their opinions and ideas. If the discussion paper is presented within a particular conference please included the event in the publisher name.
