Use this content type for any other court documents that you come across that do not coincidence with the other Court Document content types in library which are the following: Decision/Opinion/Order/Ruling ,Filing , Motion, and Pleading.
In the case of legal documents generally, always look to the primary legal function of the document to determine its type ( i.e. ask yourself what action does this document allow to take place as a defined by this document?)
Author Selection Guidance
The lawyers and the clients they are making the request on behalf of in court. Typically, the individual lawyers will sign off on the motion the very last page of the motion before any exhibits are listed. Also their clients will be defined in the first paragraph of the motion as well.
