Essays or reports that contribute to an existing debate on a certain research topic. The perspective of an occasional paper is the author's and is supported by strong research.

How to Identify Author

The author will likely appear in the byline  on the front page of the document.

How to Identify Publisher

The organization that prepares and distributes the final document publicly. The publisher name will likely be captured in the copyright language on the document or somewhere on the document's cover page.
